Behind the lens...

Hi, I’m Dasia! I was born and raised in Frankfort, Kentucky, and I’ve always had a passion for capturing life’s most genuine moments. My background in communication, media, and sports taught me to see the world through stories—and photography quickly became my favorite way to tell them.

I got my first Canon camera in 2022 and took pictures every chance I could. After stepping back while earning my master’s degree, I found myself pulled right back to the lens—ready to chase my dreams and invest in what truly inspires me. My dear friend Madi Moore, owner of Bushel + Peck Photography in Frankfort, has been one of my biggest inspirations. From the very beginning, she believed in me—sharing her time, knowledge, and heart to help me grow. Madi not only taught me the ropes but also welcomed me to capture weddings alongside her. She’s been both a mentor and a friend, reminding me how powerful it is when women lift each other up and support one another’s dreams.

I’m a proud Georgetown College alum, where I balanced life as a student-athlete and earned degrees in Communication & Media Studies and Sports Administration. Later, I continued my education with an MBA from the University of the Cumberlands—an experience that deepened my love for learning and growth, both personally and creatively.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me near the water, traveling, or spending time with family and friends—soaking up the moments that make life beautiful.
